The Commission Certificate specifies the expiration date. If you hold a Limited Governmental Notary Commission, your commission does not expire until you leave qualified governmental employment. The expiration date required in the notary seal or stamp is satisfied by using the phrase “My commission expires upon office.”
You may order your seal or stamp from any office supply store, stamp supplier or notary organization. You may also visit the Notary Organizations link on our web site for a list of notary organizations.
