Our office does not currently provide training.  Our web site contains a link to the Delaware Notary law as well as answers to frequently asked questions.  The Delaware Notary Handbook is available directly from the American Society of Notaries, whose contact information is available on the Notary Organizations link on our web site.  If you wish to receive training you may want to contact one of the listed organizations.
The Report Lost Seal link found on the home page and top “Services” menu contains instructions.
Effective August 1, 2023, an electronic database of notaries public was published on the State of Delaware’s Open Data portal and will be updated frequently.  This allows a person to verify the authority of a notary public to perform notarial acts and will allow them to verify if the notary is approved to perform report or electronic notarization.  You can access the Open Data portal here.
The Division of Corporations handles these requests.  Please click here to visit their website.
